Days of Rock and Roll

It's been ages since my last post, and while I would like to say I've just been too busy having a life to keep you up to date, I'm afraid it's all due to a combination of pure laziness and frankly doing so little, that there was nothing to update on!


A recent highlight for us, though, was going to see one of our favourite bands, Kings of Leon; live in Hyde Park in June - it was Kirsty's birthday present from me, so she had to wait a full 6 months before getting to actually enjoy it, but it was totally worth the wait! It was all a bit crazy at times, with drunk people running around, people urinating into cups in front of us, drugs etc... and while it felt like we were being all rock n roll (even if only for a few minutes) by being there- the standing for 5 hours solid, and walking to the tube station afterwards etc... the pain we were both in the next morning immediately laid to rest any grandious ideas we might have had, and confirmed LOUD and CLEAR that we are getting old(er) and those partying days are going to be few and far between from now on! haha
