With all the best intentions of being discplined in posting regularly, I am amazed (yet again) at how quickly the time has gone!
Our lives are quite chaotic at the moment, and we are reminding ourselves daily of the holiday around the corner, and the marital bliss that awaits just to make it through without completely losing the plot!
Kirsty has started her new job in Kent (2 hours’ commute each way every day), and so far it’s going really well. As indispenable as she became at her previous depot, they really were taking advantage of her, and I think this move came at just the right time for her. The company is centralising their buying system, so very big changes with lots of work to do at the moment, but the grass really does look greener on the other side of it, and Kirsty has said a few times that she can really see herself enjoying her new role once the dust has settled *music to my ears*. She has worked SO hard to be recognised, and respected despite her age; and I am so proud of the name she has made for herself within the company. Leaving Battersea was really hard and sad for her, having been a part of that family since starting with the company, and still talks about “her boys” everyday – keeping a check on how they’re doing, and looking out for them where she can. Long and short of it is I am proud- so proud of her, and looking forward to watching her fly!
Our wedding is now fast approaching, with less than 2 months to go to D-Day; and while there is still alot in the air (finalising outfits, makeup, flowers, etc) the worst of it is sorted, and the excited butterflies have officially begun! It’s mad to think in just a few weeks I will be a married woman, and I will be spending a really special time with my family all there- the first time in 5 years that we’ve been in the same room together, so really chuffed 
This weekend, we’re off to see Angela and meet with the venue to discuss details of the wedding, the following weekend Kirsty’s having her STEN do (too “staggy” to be a hen apparently) and the weekend after that, we’re heading up to the bright lights of Manchester to celebrate Kirsty’s aunt’s wedding, so lots of fun getting out and seeing new things and anything but quiet for the next few weeks!
That said, I have to run (as always) to get on the train home but will try my best to post more regularly
